Here at Waterside Clinic, our aim has always been to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all our patients. After listening carefully to your feedback, we have decided to run a pilot scheme and expand our services. So now, in addition to our supportive transgender and non-binary care, we are delighted to reveal we will also be offering a full range of GP services which we hope the entire LGBTQIA+ community will find useful.
A safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community
We believe in empowering our patients by giving them choices. So now, as well as accessing GP services when you need them at our sister practice at YourGP on Dundas Street, patients also have the option to see one of our highly experienced doctors at Waterside Clinic.
Waterside Clinic already has a firmly established reputation for being a safe space for trans and non-binary individuals to access the healthcare they need and deserve. And we now hope the entire LGBTQIA+ community can benefit from the supportive environment we have created here.
The services you need, right when you need them
From April 2026, Waterside Clinic will provide a wide range of private GP services, including a comprehensive range of vaccinations, tests, assessments and specialist treatments. The GP clinic will be available twice a month on Tuesday afternoons.

- A choice of appointment lengths to suit your needs: Choose from 20, 30, 45 or 60 minute appointments and take all the time you need to talk through any health concerns.
- A quick turnaround of test results: No one likes waiting for important news. That’s why we aim to get test results back to you as soon as possible.
- Referrals to specialists, in-house and externally: If you have a health concern that requires specialist attention, we’ll put you in touch with the right experts right away.
We’ll continue to listen and respond to your needs
These new GP services will be offered as part of a pilot scheme and we will be keeping a close eye on the response, with the intention of increasing appointment times if the demand is there. So spread the word if this is a service you and your friends and family find beneficial!
